In order to establish a more organized club, Rotary Club Marinduque Premier held an online meeting on July 23. Through the meeting, the club members and officers were able to discuss important matters.
The club chartering was declared successful due to attendance of almost all of the club members and officers who are Manila based and Marinduque based.
The club members were also thankful for the whole hearted support of Rotary Club Marinduque North, the mother club who evenhelped finance the event.
The presence of dignitaries District Governor Angie Sunio, Past District governor (PDG) Dennis Sunio and RCMN President John Pelaez and IPP Pres Rosette P. Sotta made the occasion momentous.
Dir. Lenie Rodriguez also shared how proud she was to take her oath at Okada with the rest of the RCMP Officers’ with the new District Governor Gina Sy inducting them.
Other matters discussed are payment of SAR which is due by the end of July and the Unification Shirt which remained undelivered despite the fact that the club has completed the payment.
To settle important matters of the club, Charter Pres. Dodie Zulueta called for the 1st Board Meeting on July 27, 2022 at Kusina Sa Plaza. Adviser of the club, PP Evangeline Mandia was invited to the meeting to give advice to the officers on different matters. All Board Members were present as the board meeting used a hybrid modality: Face to face and Online.
Top of the list of the agenda was the identification of possible officers who will perform tasks of Chairman and Directors. Brainstorming was also conducted to identify possible projects for the different committees and 7 areas of focus.
The board meeting ended by identifying possible new members. Identified to be invited are Bokal Jojo Leva, Bokal Tres Mangcucang, Atty Romel Fernandez, Mrs. Flor Salcedo, Gov Presby Velasco and Cong Allan Velasco.
